KEEP CHECKING BACK FOR DETAILS ON UPCOMING STATEWIDE CONFERENCE

Education for Abolition Program

    AzDPF is currently meeting with community organizations to discuss the death penalty.  We have developed a power point presentation and brochures describing selected death penalty issues.  Our speakers bureau is ready to meet your organization's needs.  Please contact Paula@azdeathpenalty.org for more information and to schedule a speaker.

================================================================

AzDPF recently helped create a powerful display of the horrors of state sanctioned killing at the Arizona State University Law School

The first exhibit displays nine death row inmates and asks the viewer to pick out the innocent one portraying the ratio of executions to exonerations since the resumption of the death penalty

899 people have been executed in the U.S. since 1973.
113 have been exonerated during that same time period
One of these men is innocent.  Which one?

The second exhibit is a world map with blue flags on countries that execute and red flags on countries that execute juveniles.  We also had posters listing the countries with/without the death penalty and states in the U.S. with/without the death penalty.
