  • Catholics Against Capital Punishment This Web site contains information about the Catholic Church's stance on capital punishment. It includes information about relevant church documents, such as Pope John Paul II's Evangelium Vitae or The Catechism of the Catholic Church or publications from the United States Catholic Conference.
  • Coalition of Arizonans to Abolish the Death Penalty (CAADP) The Coalition of Arizonans to Abolish the Death Penalty is a group of organizations and individuals pledged to end the death penalty in Arizona. 
  • Community of Sant'Egidio International Campaign against Death Penalty
    Includes information on their call for international moratorium.
  • Death Penalty Open Access Research 
  • Death Penalty Information Center (DPIC) One of the best resources for information about the death penalty. The site includes a database of inmates, data related to the death penalty, a discussion of various death penalty-related issues, and so forth.
  • Death Row Inmate: A grassroots anti-death penalty advocacy organization inspired by San Quentin, CA, death row inmates, their families, friends, and others interested in achieving social chnge through education of facts and issues regarding the death penalty.

  • Death Penalty/Criminal Justice Degree This link leads to a rich list of resources including overview and histories of the death penalty, along with analysis and discussion of the validity of capital punishment.
  • Death Penalty Worldwide Recently Northwestern University Law's Center for International Human Rights established its new website, Death Penalty Worldwide, a database comprised of research and statistics regarding laws and practices relating to the application of the death penalty around the world.  The website is available as a principal source of information for attorneys, journalists, policymakers, activists and others seeking reliable information on the laws and practices of retentionist countries, and those which are abolitionist by default because they have not conducted any executions for years, although they retain capital punishment statutes.
    New research compiled on the website indicates that many nations previously committed to state-sponsored executions are encouraging legislatures and other bodies to consider abolition, or narrowing the scope of the death penalty. However, the website also has information indicating that in nearly every nation that retains the death penalty and actively uses it, indigent capital defendants are denied access to quality legal representation.
    The project has the support of the World Coalition Against the Death Penalty and the European Union.

  • Equal Justice USA Equal Justice USA is a project of the Quixote Center in Washington, DC. You can find useful information about political, grassroots efforts to enact a moratorium and end the death penalty.
  • Kansas Coalition Against the Death Penalty The Kansas Coalition Against the Death Penalty is a not-for-profit corporation organized for the purpose of promoting public education about capital punishment and disseminating information about the death penalty and the effects of executions.
  • LethalInjection.org - Berkeley Law Death Penalty Clinic The mission of lethalinjection.org is to create a web-based clearinghouse for information about lethal injection and challenges to lethal injection as a method of execution. 
  • Monsignor Edward J. Ryle Fund The Monsignor Edward J. Ryle Fund has been founded to honor the memory and extend the legacy of  Monsignor Edward J. Ryle. The Fund's success will be measured by a growing crescendo of many, if lesser, voices speaking in the public square on behalf of Arizona, especially the most vulnerable and the disenfranchised including prisoners, especially death row inmates.
  • Murder Victims' Families for Human Rights (MVFHR) Murder Victims’ Families for Human Rights (MVFHR) asserts that the death penalty is a human rights issue. Executions violate Articles 3 and 5 of the UN Declaration of Human Rights...Human rights transcend government policies.
  • Murder Victims' Families for Reconciliation  (Murder Victims' Families for Reconciliation is a non-religious, death penalty abolition organization that includes people of a wide variety of faiths and belief systems. Its goal is to abolish the death penalty, and its membership includes individuals who have "lost a loved one to murder — through homicide or execution — and every [member] opposes the death penalty."
  • National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty The only fully staffed national organization devoted exclusively to abolition of the death penalty. CAADP is the Arizona chapter of NCADP.
  • Religious Organizing Against the Death Penalty Project
    An American Friends Service Committee project. 
  • The Constitution Project The Constitution Project has joined with myriad individuals and groups to express concern over the death penalty and to work tirelessly for critical reforms.  Our reports have been distributed widely, both by the Constitution Project and allied organizations.  
  • Sister Helen PrejeanThe official Web site for Helen Prejean, CSJ, a leader in the movement to abolish the death penalty and a member of the CAADP advisory committee. Sister Prejean is the author of Dead Man Walking, which also was made into a movie. Recently, she published her book, The Death of Innocents: An Eyewitness Account of Wrongful Executions.
  • The Texas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (TCADP) is a statewide, grassroots membership organization working to end the death penalty in Texas. TCADP engages in outreach, education, and advocacy aimed at raising awareness of issues related to the death penalty and mobilizing the citizens of Texas - and their elected officials - to support abolition. We invite all concerned citizens to join our growing movement.
  • World Coalition Against the Death Penalty
    an alliance of more than 120 NGOs, bar associations, local authorities and unions, was created in Rome on 13 May 2002. It was founded as a result of the commitment made by the signatories of the Final Declaration of the 1st World Congress Against the Death Penalty
